Research progress and prospects of coal petrology and coal quality in China
Clean utilization of coal depends on the quality of raw coal, which depends on the coal-forming parent materials (petrology and chemical composition of coal), the multiple media of the coal-forming environment, and some epigenetic conditions, such as ...

From Citrus to Cymene: Understanding the Hydrothermal Conversion of Limonene
When life gives you limonene… Hydrothermal conversion and pyrolysis of limonene give two distinct sets of products, arising from differing reaction cascades. While p‐cymene dominates in the presence of water, indicative of an isomerisation/aromatisation pathway, pyrolysis favours cracking and loss of carbon affording an m‐xylene rich aromatic mix.

If tidal electricity generation and storage replaced natural gas and battery storage by 2050, it could reduce the climate change impact of UK grid electricity by 71%, saving up to 4.4 Mt CO2 eq./y. Most other environmental impacts would be reduced by up to 24%. However, high costs and low public acceptability hinder its deployment. ABSTRACT Tidal range
