ABSTRACT Carbon capture technologies are poised to become one of the primary focuses regarding the achievement of net‐zero emissions by the year 2050. In these technologies, particular attention is given to post‐combustion CO2 capture, which is more easily implemented at existing power stations and other industries.

ABSTRACT This study proposes a novel double‐column vapor recompression heat pump (DCVRHP) distillation process for separating ternary wide‐boiling‐range mixtures under two different vapor conditions: n‐hexane/n‐heptane/n‐octane using low pressure steam and n‐hexanol/n‐octanol/n‐decanol using high pressure steam.

Leakage Detection Method of Coal Mine Power Supply System Based on 3AC
With the continuous attention to the safety of coal mine power systems, the traditional mine leakage protection method has its limitations; therefore, a leakage detection method based on 3 asymmetric capacitance (3AC) is proposed. This method is able to calculate the value of the insulation resistance in real time, enabling continuous monitoring of the

ABSTRACT Healthcare derived polystyrene waste represents a growing and under addressed fraction of plastic waste streams due to contamination risks and limited recyclability. This study aims to investigate the valorization of waste polystyrene foam through catalytic and noncatalytic pyrolysis pathways to evaluate product yield distribution and identify

ABSTRACT Characteristics of high alkali in Zhundong coal ash may cause ash‐related slag discharge problems at entrained‐flow‐bed (EFB) gasifier. In this study, through exploring melting characteristics and viscosity–temperature characteristics, it is found that MN05, MN14, and MN23 show low FTs (< 1160°C).

First‐principles calculations reveal that ANaH3 (where A = Hf, Nb, Pd, Ru) perovskite hydrides combine structural stability, favorable electronic properties, and low hydrogen desorption temperatures (280–369 K). Strong metal–hydrogen interactions and reversible hydrogen storage characteristics identify these materials as promising candidates for ...

Long Distance Intrinsically Safe Power Supply Technology in Coal Mines
Based on the problem of weak remote power supply capacity of intrinsically safe power supply in coal mines, according to the centralized power supply mode of point-to-point power supply in the field, this paper analyzes the fault phenomenon caused by insufficient power supply capacity of intrinsically safe equipment when working in the field, and ...

Abstract The middle Permian represents a critical interval in therapsid evolution, when gorgonopsians emerged as some of the first specialized apex predators within terrestrial ecosystems. Despite their significance, the early diversification of Gorgonopsia in Gondwana remains poorly understood due to scarcity and fragmentary material.

Abstract Fishes of the genus Enchodus were abundant and cosmopolitan in the Late Cretaceous, but are primarily known from isolated remains in Canada. Four well‐preserved fish skulls were recovered in recent years from ammolite mines sampling the Bearpaw Formation of Southern Alberta, and are here referred to Enchodus petrosus Cope, 1874.
