An optimizing microseismic method for rock burst early warning based on mining production process

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
A classification early warning method of rock burst based on hourly microseismic data is proposed, which can be combined with the on‐site production process to provide more timely warning. Abstract Microseismic (MS) events have been reported in nearly every coal mining country, which could well lead to rock burst in underground coal mines.

Impact resistance performance of rockbolt system with(out) rubber cushion energy absorbing and buffering components

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
The practice of impact resistance support in dangerous roadways has shown that energy absorbing and buffering components can improve the impact resistance performance of rockbolt support systems. A rubber cushion layer was used as an energy absorbing and

Caving‐enhanced geothermal system overwhelms fracturing‐ and pipe‐enhanced geothermal system in heat extraction

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
Our study reveals that caving‐enhanced geothermal systems (C‐EGS) with adequately fractured reservoirs achieve optimal heat extraction by minimizing preferential flow paths, while conventional fracturing (F‐EGS) and pipe‐based (P‐EGS) systems suffer accelerated thermal drawdown.

Study and application of dynamic response characteristics of support in full-mechanized top coal caving with large mining height

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
The dynamic response characteristics of stope support include the information of support resistance increase and live column shrinkage, which is not only an important index to reflect the strength of mining pressure behavior in working face, but also the
