Study on stability of coal water slurry under different coal water slurry dispersants by using stability analyzer

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2019
Abstract The stability analysis of CWS by Turbiscan Lab stability analyzer not only can clearly observe the change of the supernatant layer in the slurry, but also can observe the change of the turbid area. It can objectively reflect the agglomeration and flocculation in the slurry, Settlement and a series of changes.

Study on the composite fracture characteristics of filling and reinforcing cracked rock mass after high temperature damage

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
Cement infill shares compressive and shear stresses during loading, while interfacial friction hinders crack propagation and reduces stress concentration, improving the rock's load‐bearing capacity. Failure modes vary with crack inclination. Unfilled specimens show four modes.

ZnO‐Coated Silicon Oxide Nano‐Anode: Synergistic Enhancement of Cycling and Thermal Stability of Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Lithium‐ion battery anodes that maintain good performance and excellent stability under high temperature conditions. Silicon oxide (SiO) has great potential as a high‐capacity anode for lithium‐ion batteries, but its practical use is limited by excessive volume expansion (>200%) and rapid capacity fade, especially at high temperatures.

Underground mining slurry transportation viability

open access: yesInternational Journal of Coal Science & Technology, 2019
Underground mining requires lot of water pumping to surface which increases cost. Because of safety, support, ventilation and environment costs underground mines are closing down gradually all over the world.

“Win‐Win” Structural Engineering of Chinese Herb Residues‐Derived Porous Graphitic Carbons: Decoupling the Porosity‐Graphitization Antagonism for Ultrahigh‐Rate Supercapacitors

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This work proposes a strategy that overcomes the porosity‐graphitization antagonism in carbon materials, converting Sargentodoxa cuneata residue into porous graphitic carbons to enable sustainable, high‐performance energy storage from biomass waste. The antagonism between porosity and graphitization critically limits carbon supercapacitor performance ...

Mechanisms of the effects of external fields and polycarboxylic acids on the performance of gangue-based non-cementitious filling slurry

open access: yesCase Studies in Construction Materials
This study focuses on the non-cementitious filling technology for underground coal mines, where the filling slurry is prepared using coal gangue as the aggregate, supplemented by fly ash. Based on the slurry ratio determined in the preliminary tests, the
