Division of coalbed methane desorption stages and its significance
To quantitatively analyze the effect of desorption characteristics on productivity, a division method of coalbed methane (CBM) desorption stages was established based on the Langmuir adsorption isothermal theory, and the indicating significance of the ...

A new phenomenon of pulsation of steam permeability is discovered. The permeability of high‐temperature steam in coal shows a periodic pulsation pattern with an increase in the injection time. A two‐phase flow theory of gas–liquid is adopted to elucidate the mechanism of pulsating seepage of steam.

Development of Designing and Performing Procedure for Well Test in Coalbed Methane(CBM) Reservoir
Depatment of Energy and Resources Engineering, College of Engineering, Chonnam National University,Gwangju, 500-757, Korea The most critical factor in developing coalbed methane(CBM) reservoir is absolute permeability. Both productiv-ity and economics of the CBM depend on the absolute permeability.

A fully coupled hydro-mechanical model for the modeling of coalbed methane recovery [PDF]
Most coal seams hold important quantities of methane which is recognized as a valuable energy resource. Coal reservoir is considered not conventional because methane is held adsorbed on the coal surface. Coal is naturally fractured, it is a dual-porosity

Analisis Keekonomian Pengembangan Coalbed Methane (Cbm) Di Indonesia Dengan Berbagai Model Production Sharing Contract (Psc) Berbasis Joint Study Pada Lapangan Cbm X [PDF]

Methane release during mining exploitation represents a severe threat to miners’ safety. Methane gas can be removed from coal seams using predrainage and postdrainage techniques and used to generate electricity or for household purposes. One of the postdrainage methods is the cross‐measure borehole method, which involves drilling boreholes from the ...
