A coalitional value for fuzzy games with a coalition structure
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2015Abstract In this paper, we shall study another coalitional value for fuzzy games with a coalition structure, which is named the proportional coalitional Shapley value. A generalized form of the proportional coalitional Shapley value for fuzzy games with a coalition structure is considered, which can be regarded as a generalization of ...

COALITION FORMATION GAMES: A SURVEY
International Game Theory Review, 2006In this paper we give an overview of various methods used to study cooperation within a set of players. Besides the classical games with transferable utility and games without transferable utility, recently new models have been proposed: the coalition formation games.

Efficiency in coalition games with externalities
Games and Economic Behavior, 2007A natural extension of superadditivity is not sufficient to imply that the grand coalition is efficient when externalities are present. We provide a condition, analogous to convexity, that is sufficient for the grand coalition to be efficient and show that this also implies that the (appropriately de…fined) core is nonempty.

The coalition game focuses on techniques for identifying coalitions or subgroups within larger social systems. The binding force in the game is the participant's perceptions of attractive others. The game generates a wealth of data that not only serve to dramatize social dynamics, but can also be used to identify the structure of coalitions and the ...

Coalition Formation Game for Resource Allocation in D2D Uplink Underlaying Cellular Networks
IEEE Communications Letters, 2019This letter focuses on the problem of joint resource allocation and power control in device-to-device (D2D) uplink underlaying cellular networks. The resource allocation is formulated as a coalition formation game to maximize the D2D system throughput ...

k-Coalitional Cooperative Games
International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2016In most previous models of coalition structure generation, it is assumed that agents may partition themselves into any coalition structure. In practice, however, there may be physical and organizational constraints that limit the number of co-existing coalitions.

Since the advent of the theory of games, its application to diplomatic-military analysis has been more or less constrained to two-person games. Much of the early military analysis was based on the zero-sum game, and topics such as duels and pursuit problems lent themselves both to reasonably good models and to complex mathematics.

Rich Coalitional Resource Games
Proceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2018We propose a simple model of interaction for resource-conscious agents. The resources involved are expressed in fragments of Linear Logic. We investigate a few problems relevant to cooperative games, such as deciding whether a group of agents can form a coalition and act together in a way that satisfies all of them. In terms of solution
