Coalition graphs

2022
Summary: A coalition in a graph \(G = (V,E)\) consists of two disjoint sets \(V_1\) and \(V_2\) of vertices, such that neither \(V_1\) nor \(V_2\) is a dominating set, but the union \(V_1 \cup V_2\) is a dominating set of \(G\). A coalition partition in a graph \(G\) of order \(n = |V|\) is a vertex partition \(\pi = \{V_1, V_2, \dots, V_k\}\) such ...

STABLE COALITION STRUCTURES UNDER RESTRICTED COALITIONAL CHANGES [PDF]

open access: possibleInternational Game Theory Review, 2014
In this paper, we examine whether farsighted players form the efficient grand coalition structure in coalition formation games. We propose a stability concept for a coalition structure, called sequentially stability, when only bilateral mergers of two separate coalitions are feasible because of high negotiation costs.

Talonavicular Coalition

Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, 1977

Tarsal coalition

Current Opinion in Pediatrics, 2001
Tarsal coalition is a common abnormality of the hindfoot skeleton that only rarely leads to symptoms. These symptoms occur most commonly in adolescence but rarely can be found also in adults. Although most coalitions are congenital, as the consequence of autosomal dominant inheritance, coalitions also can be acquired by degenerative joint disease ...

Endoscopic Coalition Resection

Foot and Ankle Clinics, 2015
Excision of symptomatic tarsal coalitions, after failure of attempted conservative treatment, is a widely accepted surgical procedure, when the surrounding joints are not degenerated. Historically, the literature has supported open resection.

Coalitions

Multitudes, 2011
