Fluidic Thrust, Propulsion, Vector Control of Supersonic Jets by Flow Entrainment and the Coanda Effect [PDF]
Thrust, propulsion, vector control of supersonic jets has been applied to jet and rocket engines, ejectors, and other many devices. In general, there are two approaches to this type of control, namely mechanical moving systems and fluidic thrust vector ...

Mathematical Modeling of Coanda Effect
<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper presents a theoretical model of Coanda attachment mechanisms and laws of the Coanda effect. In this paper, it has been considered a very conventional setup in order to define by a theoretical analysis a mathematical model of the Coanda adhesion.

Hydraulic Performance of Coanda-Effect Screens
A theoretically based computational model is presented for predicting the hydraulic performance of Coanda-effect screens. These screens use a tilted-wire, wedge-wire screen panel to remove thin layers of high-velocity flow from the bottom edge of a supercritical flow.

A Contribution to the Coanda Effect
Digital simulation of a discontinuous diffusing flow with particular reference to the Coanda effects is carried out. We give an initial flow pattern arbitrarily and modify it step by step so that it satisfies the Navier-Stokes equations of motion. Reynolds number is assumed to be low enough to keep the flow within the laminar region.
