A new genus of Gnorimoschemini (Lepidoptera, Gelechiidae, Gelechiinae) from the Atacama and Sechura deserts [PDF]
Sexually dimorphic Gnorimoschemini moths (Lepidoptera, Gelechiidae, Gelechiinae) were reared from leaf mines collected on Tessaria absinthioides (Hook. & Arn.) DC. (Asteraceae) in the coastal Atacama Desert of northern Chile. Detailed examination

Comparative photosynthetic characteristics of coastal and desert plants of California
The photosynrhetic characteristics of planes native to a Californian hot desert habitar, Death Valley, and a cool coastal locality, Bodega Head, were compared. The desert planes showed a variety of responses including species with C3 and C4 photosymhetic pathways, drought tolerance and inrolerance, a wide range of thermal optima, and biochemical and ...

A sprayable POE‐based sorbent formulated with a green solvent blend of α‐pinene, D‐limonene, and p‐cymene enables rapid in situ film formation via solvent evaporation, allowing efficient pollutant capture. The system exhibits high oil uptake (37.3 g g−1) and effectively removes up to 60 mL of VLSFO under simulated marine spill conditions.

Workflow of the PV power estimation and ML forecasting methodology. ABSTRACT Accurate prediction of solar panel energy output is vital for managing power systems effectively and maintaining a stable electrical grid. This is especially important in regions that rely heavily on renewable sources. This research provides a direct comparison of five machine
