June 2003 bin-averaged CTD profiles for the Georgia Coastal Ecosystems Doboy Sound transect

open access: yes, 2011
Two hydrographic surveys were performed on June 18, 2003, along an east-to-west transect through Doboy Sound near Sapelo Island, Georgia (Doboy Sound Transect, GCE-DB). Vertical CTD profiles were collected at approximately 2km intervals from -2km to 12km

Linking species distribution models with population abundance to support adaptive fisheries management

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Understanding how environmental variability structures essential fish habitat (EFH) is central to managing keystone populations in dynamic marine ecosystems. Using nearly three decades of standardized survey data (1994–2021) from the Adriatic Sea, we present the first basin‐scale, process‐based framework linking estimated habitat suitability and ...

open access: yes, 2011
Four hydrographic surveys were performed on May 28, 2004, along an east-to-west transect up the Altamaha River in Georgia (Altamaha River Transect, GCE-AL).

Sprayable Polyolefin Sorbents Enabled by Bio‐Solvents for Large‐Scale Oil and Chemical Spill Recovery

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A sprayable POE‐based sorbent formulated with a green solvent blend of α‐pinene, D‐limonene, and p‐cymene enables rapid in situ film formation via solvent evaporation, allowing efficient pollutant capture. The system exhibits high oil uptake (37.3 g g−1) and effectively removes up to 60 mL of VLSFO under simulated marine spill conditions.
