Multi‐Timescale Drought Evolution in Greece (1960–2022) From Station‐Based SPI and SPEI
Using homogenized data from 67 HNMS stations in Greece (1960–2022), we calculated SPI and SPEI at 1–12‐month scales to characterize meteorological to hydrological drought. We quantified the network‐based spatial extent of drought, compared SPI and SPEI drought signals, and tested changes with autocorrelation‐robust Mann–Kendall trends and Pettitt ...

Climatology of Tropical Cyclones Approaching Tanzania and Their Impacts on Rainfall in East Africa
Tropical cyclones (TCs) that approach Tanzania bring heavy rainfall over northern Mozambique, Tanzania, and south‐central Kenya, but the occurrence of these TCs reduces precipitation over southern African countries. Easterly steering winds and the Mascarene High are key features directing TCs westward.

Use of the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) in the study of the circulation of the Adriatic Sea [PDF]
The results of basin-wide vessel-mounted ADCP measurements carried out from May 1995 through February 1996 in the Adriatic Sea are analysed in order to characterise the tidal flow, the steady current field and some specific sub-basin scale features.

Heat, Health and Holidays: Reported Heat Related Adjustments to Australian Tourist Behaviour
This study assessed how climate‐related hazards affect Australian tourists' travel planning. While 80% of tourists report no impact, the 20% who do experience disruption most commonly change their activities, timing, or destination, with heat and rain affecting the same proportion of tourists across beach, city, nature, and family tourism types ...
