New evidences on the marine Holocene in the western Belgian coastal plain [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
Investigations in the coastal plain yielded new data regarding the stratigraphy of the marine Holocene and the evolution of the plain during the Atlantic and Subboreal periods.

Selective Electrolysis of Water Under Artificial Seawater Conditions Using Transition Metal Borate Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The borate‐based cobalt‐iron catalyst promotes selective oxidation of water rather than chlorine evolution reaction during electrolysis of seawater. When integrated into a zero‐gap electrolyzer prototype, this catalyst supports robust splitting of artificial seawater into oxygen and hydrogen on an extended timescale.

Geomorphic processes on the North Slope of Alaska [PDF]

open access: yes
Three physiographic provinces comprise the North Slope of Alaska: the Arctic Mountains, the Arctic Foothills and the Arctic Coastal Plain Provinces. The features and processes in the Arctic Coastal Plain, a zone of continuous permafrost, are stressed in

Ground-Penetrating Radar Study of Progradational Units in Holocene Coastal Plains: Carchuna Beach (SE Spain)

open access: yesGeosciences, 2020
The internal geometries of progradational units on the coastal plain in southeastern Spain (Carchuna Beach, Granada) since the maximum Holocene marine transgression (ca. 7000 cal BP) have been analysed using ground-penetrating radar (GPR).
