Abstract Young people worldwide are increasingly participating in a global movement for climate justice, yet to date, little research has examined how youth climate justice activists conceive of and experience activism as education. Rapid coastal deoxygenation due to ocean circulation shift in the NW Atlantic. [PDF]
Global observations show that the ocean lost approximately 2% of its oxygen inventory over the last five decades 1-3, with important implications for marine ecosystems 4, 5.

MiR‐29b is enriched in extracellular vesicles (EVs) via a tetraspanin transporter‐dependent endocytosis and sorting complex required for the endosomal transport (ESCRT)‐dependent pathway. These EVs target the 3′ untranslated region (3′UTR) of TGFB2, thereby inhibiting the TGF‐β/Smad3 signaling pathway and repairing endometrial damage in intrauterine ...

Mid‐Domain Effect and Wooded Habitat Shape Mediterranean Reptile Communities
Analyzing a large number of reptiles observed across protected areas in Central Italy, we tested whether the mid‐domain effect explains hump‐shaped richness–elevation patterns. Species richness was best predicted by the combined influence of geometric constraints and woodland cover, revealing two contrasting species clusters and offering a robust ...

Sediment Transport in Coastal Waters
The interface of 440,000 km long coastline in the world is subject to global change, with an increasing human pressure (land use, buildings, sand mining, dredging) and increasing population. Improving our knowledge on involved mechanisms and sediment transport processes, monitoring the evolution of sedimentary stocks and anticipating changes in ...

Adaptive Genomic Divergence Across Altitudes in Capsella bursa‐pastoris
Genomic divergence was observed between high‐altitude and low‐altitude populations of Capsella bursa‐pastoris in China, consistent with an important role of ecological factors. Candidate adaptive loci associated with enhanced energy metabolism, photoprotection, and growth plasticity under altitudinal stress were identified.
