Coaxial Bipolar Probe

Archives of Ophthalmology, 1979
A coaxial electrode probe that uses the principle of bipolar coagulation is introduced to ophthalmic microsurgery. The central, or axial, electrode is insulated with silicone from the surrounding outer, or coaxial, diameter electrode. The probe uses available bipolar electrode cautery power and control sources.

The Coaxial Disc Viscometer

ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 1964
AbstractTwo equal, circular, coaxial discs at a small separation are rotating slowly with equal and opposite angular velocities in a viscous fluid. The purpose of this investigation is to find asymptotically the turning couple on each disc as their separation approaches zero. The problem was formulated by Cooke [2] as an integral equation.

Coaxial gyroklinotron

2011 IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference (IVEC), 2011
A new kind of gyrotron — coaxial gyroklinotron with a conical cavity is presented. In such gyrotron with coaxial-conical configuration of the cavity the inclination of the surface level of the electromagnetic field to longitudinal motion of electrons is formed.

The characteristics of coaxial and non-coaxial strain paths

Journal of Strain Analysis, 1966
In manufacturing processes involving large strains, the properties of the material undergoing deformation depend not only on the current total strain but on the previous strain path as well. Strain paths are divided into two major types, those in which the principal axes of strain remain fixed with respect to the material (coaxial strain paths), and ...

Coupling of Coaxial Cavity Resonator of Klystron to Coaxial Line

2007 IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference, 2007
In order to make characteristic impedances along each shift tube of klystron output cavity as even as possible the configuration of disk-shape transmission line between coaxial cavity and coaxial output waveguide is designed. The external quality factor of TM010 mode in coaxial cavity with shift tubes and phase angle of scattering coefficient are ...

Coaxial Omnidirectional Stereopsis

2004
Catadioptric omnidirectional sensors, consisting of a camera and a mirror, can track objects even when their bearings change suddenly, usually due to the observer making a significant turn. There has been much debate concerning the relative merits of several possible shapes of mirrors to be used by such sensors.

The coaxial transistor

Electrical Engineering, 1949
The success of the earlier types of transistors led to the exploration of other forms of similar amplifiers, one of which is the coaxial transistor. A description of its construction, characteristics, and many advantages are contained in this article.
