Microwave ablation coaxial antenna computational model slot antenna comparison
2012 Pan American Health Care Exchanges, 2012Microwave ablation computational model, on COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0a, was presented in this paper using two types of coaxial antenna, one-slot and two-slot antenna. Computational model was done using electric and thermal properties of healthy breast tissue and tumoral breast tissue.

The transient response of the coaxial cone antenna
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1969A coaxial cone antenna whose aperture is in the plane of a ground plane has been described theoretically and experimentally in the time domain. Its response to an incident step along the ground plane is essentially a pulse whose width is equal to the diameter of the outer conductor at the aperture. Limitations on the cone dimensions are also discussed.

A compact omnidirectional CP coaxial slots antenna
2015 IEEE 6th International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation, and EMC Technologies (MAPE), 2015In this letter, a compact omnidirectional CP coaxial slots antenna with high gain and omnidirectional circularly polarized (CP) performance is presented. The antenna is based on the coaxial cylinder structure, and the omnidirectional CP property is realized by perpendicular slot pairs surrounding the coaxial cylinder symmetrically on the out conductor.

Novel fiber RF antenna with coaxial structure
2010 IEEE International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics, 2010A novel fiber RF antenna technology is proposed. With the coaxial structure, optical waveguide, surface plasmon waveguide and radio frequency waveguide are combined together. The modulation of the antenna received radio frequency signal on optical carrier is implemented based on the surface plasmon polaritons.

Coaxial Fed Hexagonal Dielectric Resonator Antenna
2005 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings, 2006A coaxial fed hexagonal dielectric resonator antenna (HDRA) is investigated experimentally. The return loss, impedance matching, radiation pattern, beam widths and gain of the antenna are measured and discussed. The antenna resonates at 2.05GHz with a 3dB bandwidth of 2.4% and an average gain of /spl sim/7.7dB in the band.
