Modelling study of coaxial collinear antenna array
Proceedings of Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2002A theoretical and experimental study of the coaxial collinear (COCO) antenna are presented. The research is concentrated on the analysis of large and planar arrays which consist of foam-filled cable with plastic housings. An equivalent transmission line model is used to establish the integral equation which suitably describes COCO antenna arrays.

Backfire antennas constructed with coaxial circular loops
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1980The radiation characteristics of backfire antennas constructed entirely of circular loops are studied. A comparison between this type of backfire antenna and the conventional one, made of a solid reflector, reveals that the optimum dimensions of the reflector and the peripheral rim are approximately the same for both kinds of antennas.

A coaxial spiral antenna with increased gain
1999The raise of the gain of cylindrical spiral antenna (CSA), which is excited in axial radiation mode, is usually reached by extension of axial length of the spiral [1]. However CSA gain at large (more than 15) number of coils depends on magnitude of the angle of the spiral winding [2]; when the angle of winding is close to 14°, it is increased ...

Transient excitation of coaxial cone antenna
1999In relation to the using of ultrawideband signals in radar and radiocommunication there appeared a variety of mathematical methods for solving the problems for such signal radiation and propagation. One of them is the method of evolutionary equations relating to the analytical methods in time domain. The essence of the method is that the basis for ...

On the design and simulation of a coaxially-fed patch antenna
2013 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium (APSURSI), 2013A novel 2.4 GHz coaxially-feed fully-loaded dielectric antenna has been proposed. It has a simple structure and demonstrates good electrical performances over the desired frequency. The bandwidth of the proposed antenna could be increased by properly adjusting the dimensions of the ground plane and the radiation patch.

An electrically small coaxial loop antenna for HF
2008 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2008A mechanically-tuned electrically small loop antenna for HF use is proposed. The antenna is composed of a tuned outer loop that is inductively coupled to a smaller coaxial loop. Measurements taken at the 29 MHz band are consistent with theoretical predictions.

2020ABSTRACT COAXIAL RIDGE WAVEGUIDE AND HORN ANTENNA KAZAK, Ufuk M.S.in EJE£. Supervisor : Prof. Dr. Altunkan HIZAL February, 1989 : 117 pages In this study, solution of the cutoff frequencies and the characteristic impedance for the rectangular and the coaxial ridge waveguides are analyzed. Computer programs for both waveguide structures are developed to
