Design and Analysis of a Coupling-Fed Printed Dipole Array Antenna With High Gain and Omnidirectivity

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
A printed omnidirectional dipole array antenna with a radiated load is proposed and analyzed, which is fed by a coplanar waveguide. Flying lines and via-holes are used to connect dipoles to achieve a balanced feed.

Antenna array with switching scanning in elevation plane

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2021
It is known that the most reliable communication in hard-to-reach places such as the Arctic, Tundra, Taiga is satellite communication [1-5]. Therefore, for satellite communications, it is necessary to develop your own antenna arrays.

Intelligent Acousto‐Electrical Metamaterials (IAM) for Sound Source Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Our proposed metamaterial concept enables sound source detection using a single material, in contrast to conventional arrays that require dozens or even hundreds of transducers. We show that the coupled acoustic–vibrational–electrical responses in piezoelectric metamaterials give rise to topology‐governed charge transport, producing distinct voltage ...

Coaxial Dipole Array With Switching Transmit Sensitivities for Ultrahigh Field MRI. [PDF]

open access: yesMagn Reson Med
ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate dipole antennas with electronically switchable transmit field patterns to improve flip angle homogeneity in ultra‐high field MRI. Methods Reconfigurable dipole elements that could produce two distinct electronically switchable B1+ field profiles were conceptualized and constructed.

Delay line and mutual coupling considerations for MST radar antenna arrays [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
Basic antenna theory which states that the field radiated from an antenna array is equal to the sum of the currents flowing in each element of the array is discussed.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Dual Circularly Polarized Omnidirectional Antenna with Slot Array on Coaxial Cylinder

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
A dual circularly polarized (CP) omnidirectional antenna based on slot array in coaxial cylinder structure is presented in this paper. It is constructed by perpendicular slot pairs around and along the axis of the coaxial cylinder to realize the ...

A A Compact Bandwidth Enhanced Antenna Loaded with SRR For WLAN/WiMAX/Satellite Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Electromagnetics, 2018
A compact bandwidth enhanced antenna using metamaterial single Rectangular Split Ring Resonator (RSRR) for WLAN/WiMAX/Satellite applications is presented. As the wireless modules continue to shrink, there exists a drastic demand for a compact antenna. In
