Design and fabrication of coaxial micro helicopter [PDF]
In this thesis the design of a coaxial micro helicopter is presented and based on the design, a model is fabricated. The thesis starts with the introduction on the previous models of micro helicopters like the Coax and the Epson.

Aerodynamic Layout Design of a Compound Conventional Rotor High-Speed Unmanned Helicopter
High-speed capability is a defining feature of next-generation helicopters, enabling time-sensitive missions. This paper compares three high-speed configurations: tiltrotor, coaxial rigid rotor, and compound conventional rotor.

Vibration and Performance Analyses Using Individual Blade Pitch Controls for Lift-Offset Rotors
This work attempts to reduce the hub vibratory loads of a lift-offset rotor using IBC (individual blade pitch control) in high-speed forward flight. As a lift-offset rotor for the present study, the rigid coaxial rotor of a XH-59A compound helicopter is ...

Analysis of Flapping Motion of Rotors of Small Coaxial Helicopter
We analyzed a small coaxial helicopter developed for entertainment in 2002. The upper and lower rotors are rigid rotors. The upper rotor is connected to a stabilizer bar. The cyclic pitch of the upper rotor is controlled by the stabilizer bar when the attitude of the helicopter is varied. The angle between the upper rotor and the stabilizer bar is 41°.
