Development and application of Langmuir probe system in pulsed glow discharge plasma in GADX [PDF]
The Glow and Arc Discharge Experiment (GADX) system provides an ideal platform for investigating pulsed glow discharge during the initial plasma formation stage and arc discharge plasma during the jet formation stage in plasma-jet-driven magneto-inertial

Intelligent Acousto‐Electrical Metamaterials (IAM) for Sound Source Detection
Our proposed metamaterial concept enables sound source detection using a single material, in contrast to conventional arrays that require dozens or even hundreds of transducers. We show that the coupled acoustic–vibrational–electrical responses in piezoelectric metamaterials give rise to topology‐governed charge transport, producing distinct voltage ...

We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Measurements of electric properties using an open-ended probe blocked by a non-conducting foil
An open-ended coaxial probe separated from the investigated medium by a thin non-conducting layer (foil) is proposed for making dielectric permittivity measurements within the RF range.

A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

Modified Coaxial Probe Feeds for Layered Antennas
In a modified configuration of a coaxial probe feed for a layered printed-circuit antenna (e.g., a microstrip antenna), the outer conductor of the coaxial cable extends through the thickness of at least one dielectric layer and is connected to both the ...

Thiolated Polymers in 3D Bioprinting: Control of Gelation
Thiolated polymers are established as programmable bioinks for 3D bioprinting, integrating versatile crosslinking chemistries with redox‐responsive control. This work demonstrates how molecular design and external triggers define gelation kinetics, printability windows, and structural fidelity, enabling stable, high‐resolution constructs and advancing ...
