[Cobalt radioisotope teletherapy of patients with metastases to the brain].

Neurologia i neurochirurgia polska, 1987
The results are presented of palliative telecobaltotherapy in patients with metastases to the brain. The patients received a dose of 30 Gy in 10 fractions during 2 weeks. Clinical improvement was achieved in 28 out of 33 treated patients (85%). The survival time after the completion of radiotherapy was from 1 to 15 months, mean 5 months.

Elucidation of molybdenum-based catalysts using a radioisotope tracer method Part 2 Promotion effect of cobalt on molybdena/alumina catalyst

Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions, 1997
Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) reactions of radioactive 35S-labelled dibenzothiophene were carried out over a series of cobalt-promoted molybdena/alumina catalysts at temperatures between 240 and 320°C and under 50 kg cm-2 pressure. HDS and hydrogenation (HYD) activities of Mo/Al2O3 catalysts were remarkably enhanced with the addition of cobalt, the ...

Determination of molybdenum and cobalt in hydrodesulfurization catalysts using a computerized radioisotope x-ray fluorescence system

Journal of Radioanalytical Chemistry, 1977
A rapid, non-destructive method is presented for the determination molybdenum and cobalt in hydrodesulfurization catalysts employing a PDP-11/05 computer-base radioisotope x-ray fluorescence technique. Precision for molybdenum and cobalt better than 2.5% and 4.0%, respectively, are achieved in 100 sec of fluorescent time.
