Environmental Entomology, 2018
The importation and establishment of Coccinella septempunctata L. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) in North America purportedly caused the displacement and local extirpation of the native ninespotted lady beetle, Coccinella novemnotata Herbst (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae), across most of its former range, and several reports have shown that C.

Temperature-Dependent Ovarian Development in Coccinella septempunctata (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)
Annals of the Entomological Society of America, 1995A linear relationship was observed between ovarian developmental rate in Coccinella septempunctata L. and five constant temperatures (14-30°C). The estimated lower temperature threshold for follicle development was 13°C. Development of follicles to maturity (egg chorionation) required 833 degree-hours (° H > 13°C).

SEQUENTIAL SAMPLING OF ADULT COCCINELLA SEPTEMPUNCTATA L. IN WHEAT FIELDS
The Canadian Entomologist, 1988AbstractA sequential sampling program was designed for Coccinella septempunctata L. adults in wheat fields, based on a rapid visual counting method. This program takes into account the spatial heterogeneity of coccinellids and the efficiency of the counting method.

Electrophysiological and behavioral responses of the ladybird parasitoid Dinocampus coccinellae to volatiles from the seven-spot ladybird, Coccinella septempunctata, were investigated to identify semiochemicals involved in host location. Coupled gas chromatography-electroantennography (GC-EAG) with D.
