Effects of pirimicarb, buprofezin and pymetrozine on survival, development and reproduction ofCoccinella undecimpunctata(Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)

Biocontrol Science and Technology, 2008
Abstract The effects of pirimicarb (a neurotoxin), buprofezin (an insect growth regulator) and pymetrozine (an antifeedant) on Coccinella undecimpunctata were assessed by studying the survival and development of all immature stages and the survival and reproductive performance of adults.

Possible storage of Coccinella undecimpunctata (Col., Coccinellidae) under low temperature and its effect on some biological characteristics

Journal of Applied Entomology, 2000
Developmental stages of Coccinella undecimpunctata L. were stored at 6.0°C for various storage periods in a refrigerator. Egg hatching was 65.0% after 7 days of storage. However, no egg hatching were observed after 15, 30, 45 and 60 days of storage. The survival of the third and fourth instar larvae was higher than the first and second instar.

Side effects of the entomopathogenic fungusBeauveria bassianaon the predatorCoccinella undecimpunctata

Archives Of Phytopathology And Plant Protection, 2011
The effect on predators of the biopesticide based on Beauveria bassiana spores was studied. A high concentration of the pathogen showed adverse effects on the predator (Coccinella undecimpunctata) and its biological aspects: 2, 4 and 8 g/L eliminated egg deposition in treated females.

Functional Response of the Predatory Ladybird Beetle, Coccinella undecimpunctata (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) to Different Species of Aphids (Hemiptera: Aphididae)

UTTAR PRADESH JOURNAL OF ZOOLOGY
Coccinella undecimpunctata, a predatory ladybird beetle, plays a vital role in controlling aphid populations. Understanding its feeding efficiency at different life stages is essential for effective biological pest management. This study investigates the functional response of C.
