Abstract Introduction Coral populations have declined in recent decades, largely due to anthropogenic climate change. In response, coral restoration projects are being implemented, and rubble stabilization is one such approach. Rubble beds form when dead coral fragments accumulate on the seafloor and can be mobilized by water flow.

Abstract Abaca (Musa textilis Nee) is a fiber crop, closely related to banana (Musa sp.). However, it requires 15–18 months from transplanting to first harvest, leaving the soil between plants vulnerable to erosion or weed infestation. Integrating cover crops into abaca plantations may help mitigate these issues.

We examined the phenotypes and physicochemical components, volatile substances, non‐volatile substances, and FT‐NIRS characteristics of the three fruit types. Based on FT‐NIRS, an SVM model was established for the rapid identification of LT fruit types.
