Comparison of Adsorptive Removal and Oxidative Degradation of BODIPY Dye in Non‐aqueous Systems
This study compares adsorption and advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) for removing dyes from ethanol to enhance waste to bioresource sustainability. Although AOPs were comparatively inefficient, coconut shell‐derived granular activated carbon offered a cost‐effective solution for solvent recovery and achieved higher dye removal, owing to surface ...

Evaluating the Elastic Modulus of Concrete Modified with Coconut Shell Ash
This study investigates the potential of coconut shell ash (CSA), an agricultural waste product, as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM) for sustainable concrete production. CSA, obtained from calcined coconut shells and rich in reactive silica, alumina, and iron oxides, was used to replace ordinary Portland cement (OPC) at 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%

A sequential system using magnesium‐impregnated rice husk biochar was evaluated through techno‐economic and life‐cycle assessment. The biochar first removes nitrate and phosphate from water and is then reused as a soil amendment, though high magnesium chloride costs constrain feasibility, highlighting the need for process optimization for large‐scale ...
