Optical Code Division Multiple Access
2014A comprehensive guide to optical fiber communications, from the basic principles to the latest developments in OCDMA for Next-Generation Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) systems. Part I starts off with the fundamentals of light propagation in optical fibers, including multiple access protocols, and their enabling techniques.

Frequency Hopping Code Division Multiple Access for Wireless Local Access
International Journal of Wireless Information Networks, 1999In this paper, the suitability of Slow FrequencyHopping Code Division Multiple Access (SFHCDMA) isevaluated for wireless local access applications.Investigations of the wireless channel indicate that frequency hopping mitigates the poorpropagation characteristics associated with low mobilitycommon to fixed wireless applications.

Space-time coding over a code division multiple access system
WCNC. 1999 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (Cat. No.99TH8466), 2003We discuss the usage of space-time coding with multi-antenna transmission for a DS/CDMA system. We have considered an L-multipath, M-mobile antenna system in which the base station has a phased N-antenna array (i.e. fading at the base station antennas is completely correlated).

Optical Code Division Multiple Access
1998The code division multiple access (CDMA) is under consideration for broadband video delivery over fiber-optic local area networks (LANs). There are several approaches for implementing classical CDMA principles in the optical domain, classified as incoherent, coherent and approaches based on encoding in frequency spectrum.

Code division multiple access based on independent codes and turbo decoding

Truncated power control in code division multiple access communications
GLOBECOM 97. IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference. Conference Record, 2000We analyze the performance of truncated power control in a code division multiple access communication system. This power control scheme compensates for fading above a certain cutoff fade depth: below the cutoff level an outage is declared. We assume a channel with fast Rayleigh fading and slow, log-normal shadowing, where truncated power control is ...

Code division multiple access networks
1985This chapter discusses code division multiple access networks. The spread spectrum code division multiple access techniques requires the construction of spreading codes giving rise to a minimum of interlink interference. However, situations arise where the effects of interlink interference are amplified owing to operational considerations.

Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
2018This chapter presents a brief overview of spread spectrum technique and shows how it relates to CDMA technology. Orthogonal codes and their properties are presented and show how orthogonal codes are generated and used to design CDMA radio. It is shown that CDMA capacity directly relates to code length.
