Caching at the Edge with Fountain Codes [PDF]
We address the use of linear randon fountain codes caching schemes in a heterogeneous satellite network. We consider a system composed of multiple hubs and a geostationary Earth orbit satellite. Coded content is memorized in hubs' caches in order to serve immediately the user requests and reduce the usage of the satellite backhaul link.

Mobility-Aware Traffic Offloading via Cooperative Coded Edge Caching
With caching popular contents at the small-cell base stations (SBSs), cooperative edge caching has emerged as an effective approach to offload explosively increasing network traffic from a massive number of users in mobile edge networks (MENs).

Precision planter monitoring system based on mobile communication network
Abstract Sowing is an important link in agricultural production and the basis for ensuring high yields and bumper harvests. Agriculture requires precision plows with good performance and stable work. However, the seeding process is in a completely closed state, and the operator relies mainly on experience to judge the operating state and performance of

Design and implementation of geographic information system with mobile terminal and 5G network
Abstract Remote insurance mainly completes quotation, insurance application and payment through the PC terminal and mobile terminal, and the premium directly enters the insurance account. This article takes remote insurance as an example. First, it analyses the requirements of the remote insurance and insurance system, and then collects data from the ...

Cooperative Coding and Caching for Streaming Data in Multihop Wireless Networks
This paper studies the distributed caching managements for the current flourish of the streaming applications in multihop wireless networks. Many caching managements to date use randomized network coding approach, which provides an elegant solution for ...

The performance of existing \emph{coded caching} schemes is sensitive to worst channel quality, a problem which is exacerbated when communicating over fading channels. In this paper we address this limitation in the following manner: \emph{in short-term}, we allow transmissions to subsets of users with good channel quality, avoiding users with fades ...

Coded Caching: User to Access Points Distribution in Wireless Local Area Networks
Modern wireless networks face significant challenges in high-density deployments, where the existing approaches fail to fully exploit the cooperative potential of coded caching, intelligent user clustering, and graph-theoretic optimization.
