Fountain codes based partial cooperation in cooperative communications
Proceedings of the 6th International Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Conference, 2010To improve the throughput performance without feedback channel, a partial cooperation scheme based on fountain codes is proposed in this paper. Compared with the incremental relaying where the signal is retransmitted in fixed or selective relay and fed back to the source from the destination, the proposed scheme only requires the partner to offer ...

Cooperative spectrum sensing with Slepian-Wolf coded cooperations
2012 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2012A new Slepian-Wolf coded cooperation scheme is proposed for a cognitive radio network with two secondary users (SUs) performing cooperative spectrum sensing through a fusion center (FC). The SUs sense the spectrum by measuring the energy statistics of the received signals.

Source and Channel Coding for Cooperative Relaying
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2005We consider the end-to-end distortion achieved by a half-duplex relay system where a continuous amplitude source is transmitted over a quasi-static Rayleigh fading channel. We investigate layered source coding (LS) where different source layers are sent at different times.

Construction of LDPC Codes for Coded Cooperative Relay
2011 7th International Conference on Wireless Communications, Networking and Mobile Computing, 2011In this paper, we present two construction schemes for LDPC codes in coded cooperative communication. The scheme which uses rate compatible LDPC codes based on puncturing parity bits is presented first. Then the paper proposes the scheme which uses QC-LDPC codes based on the multiplicative inverses in finite fields.

A Novel Network-Coding-Based Coded Cooperation Scheme
2009 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2009Coded Cooperation (CC) is a promising user co-operation scheme. In this paper, we propose a novel networ-kcoding-based coded cooperation scheme. When a user decodes its partner's information correctly in the first frame, it transmits the combination of the partner's parity bits and its own parity bits through network coding in the second frame. This is

Rural cooperative coding project.
Journal of AHIMA, 1995Data quality is the cornerstone on which other quality activities are built. The importance of accurately coded data cannot be overlooked. The Rural Cooperative Coding Project sought to collaborate with rural hospitals in Utah to improve the quality of that data through an individualized educational program allowing open and active discussions. We hope
