The outage behavior of coded cooperation
International Symposium onInformation Theory, 2004. ISIT 2004. Proceedings., 2004Coded cooperation is a new framework recently proposed for cooperative communication. In this work, we present outage probability results for coded cooperation, and demonstrate that full diversity is achieved. In addition, we compare the outage behavior of coded cooperation with other repetition-based cooperative schemes.

Coding for cooperation and relaying
2009 7th International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc, and Wireless Networks, 2009Cooperative communications refers to network communication where nodes cooperate, rather than compete, to transmit data for themselves and others. The main goal of this talk is to review basic strategies for cooperative communications with particular emphasis on a method called “compress-and-forward”.

Coded Cooperation in OFDMA Systems
2006 40th Annual Conference on Information Sciences and Systems, 2006A novel time-frequency cooperative communication strategy is proposed for coded OFDMA system over quasi-static frequency-selective Rayleigh fading. To take advantage of the frequency dispersion, each user transmits his partner's and his own data on different subcarriers spreading over the entire available bandwidth.

LDPC-based coded cooperative jamming codes
2012 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2012We present a practical coded cooperative jamming scheme for the problem of secure communications over the two-way wiretap channel. We design low-density parity-check (LDPC) based codes whose codewords interfere at the eavesdropper's terminal, thus providing secrecy.

Coordinate Interleaved Coded Cooperation
2007 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2007In this paper, a two-user cooperative diversity scheme is proposed where coded cooperation and modulation diversity techniques are properly combined to take their full advantage. Users perform selective cooperation in transmission according to the correct estimation of symbols from their partners.

Iconic framework for cooperative coding
Proceedings of the 19th International Conference on Computer Systems and Technologies, 2018The description of an innovative framework built on top of Web-based visual programming environment is the primary aim of this contribution. In the last decade, many frameworks oriented to visual languages have been introduced in literature to improve the skill on programming languages, but at the best of our knowledge, no framework has been specially ...

Bit-cooperative coded modulation
2013 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), 2013A new coded modulation technique, termed bit-cooperative coded modulation (BCCM), is proposed in this paper. By introducing a pseudo-random sequence at the transmitter to systematic low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes, the receiver enjoys the benefits of increased minimum Euclidean distance and the Hamming distance when applying this side-information

Coded cooperation for BICM-OFDM
2012 IEEE 23rd International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications - (PIMRC), 2012Coded cooperation is an attractive user cooperation scheme for wireless systems, where different parts of a coded packet are transmitted over different channels. In this paper, we propose a new approach to improve the performance of coded cooperation.

Cooperative Coding for OFDM Systems
Wireless Personal Communications, 2007In this paper, we study Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems with cooperative coding over frequency selective Rayleigh fading channels. We derive the pairwise error probability (PEP) for the block-fading OFDM channel model. We use the derived PEP to get an upper bound on the frame error probability for the coded cooperative OFDM ...

Molecular Code for Cooperativity in Hemoglobin
Science, 1992Although tetrameric hemoglobin has been studied extensively as a prototype for understanding mechanisms of allosteric regulation, the functional and structural properties of its eight intermediate ligation forms have remained elusive. Recent experiments on the energetics of cooperativity of these intermediates, along with assignments of their ...
