A comparison of Hochschild homology in algebraic and smooth settings

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 57, Issue 4, Page 1249-1269, April 2025.
Abstract Consider a complex affine variety V∼$\tilde{V}$ and a real analytic Zariski‐dense submanifold V$V$ of V∼$\tilde{V}$. We compare modules over the ring O(V∼)$\mathcal {O} (\tilde{V})$ of regular functions on V∼$\tilde{V}$ with modules over the ring C∞(V)$C^\infty (V)$ of smooth complex valued functions on V$V$.

Codimension-two bifurcation analysis at an endemic equilibrium state of a discrete epidemic model

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
In this paper, we examined the codimension-two bifurcation analysis of a two-dimensional discrete epidemic model. More precisely, we examined the codimension-two bifurcation analysis at an endemic equilibrium state associated with $ 1:2 $, $ 1:3 $ and ...

Stable submanifolds in the product of projective spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
We provide a classification theorem for compact stable minimal immersions (CSMI) of codimension $1$ or dimension $1$ (codimension $1$ and $2$ or dimension $1$ and $2$) in the product of a complex (quaternionic) projective space with any other Riemannian manifold.

Arithmetic Satake compactifications and algebraic Drinfeld modular forms

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 111, Issue 4, April 2025.
Abstract In this article, we construct the arithmetic Satake compactification of the Drinfeld moduli schemes of arbitrary rank over the ring of integers of any global function field away from the level structure, and show that the universal family extends uniquely to a generalized Drinfeld module over the compactification.

On codimension one holomorphic distributions on compact toric orbifolds [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The number of singularities, counted with multiplicity, of a generic codimension one holomorphic distribution on a compact toric orbifold is determined. As a consequence, we give the classification of regular distributions on rational normal scrolls and weighted projective spaces.

Relative cubulation of relative strict hyperbolization

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 111, Issue 4, April 2025.
Abstract We prove that many relatively hyperbolic groups obtained by relative strict hyperbolization admit a cocompact action on a CAT(0)$\operatorname{CAT}(0)$ cubical complex. Under suitable assumptions on the peripheral subgroups, these groups are residually finite and even virtually special.

Proximinal subspaces of A(K) of finite codimension

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
We study an analogue of Garkavi's result on proximinal subspaces of C(X) of finite codimension in the context of the space A(K) of affine continuous functions on a compact convex set K.

Compactifications of unstable Nöbeling spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
We construct and embedding of a N\"obeling space $N^n_{n-2}$ of codimension $2$ into a Menger space $M^n_{n-2}$ of codimension $2$. This solves an open problem stated by R.~Engelking in 1978 in codimension~$2$.

Extremal higher codimension cycles on moduli spaces of curves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We show that certain geometrically defined higher codimension cycles are extremal in the effective cone of the moduli space $\overline{\mathcal M}_{g,n}$ of stable genus $g$ curves with $n$ ordered marked points. In particular, we prove that codimension two boundary strata are extremal and exhibit extremal boundary strata of higher codimension. We also

Relative and absolute Lefschetz standard conjectures for some Lagrangian fibrations

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 111, Issue 4, April 2025.
Abstract We show that the hyper‐Kähler varieties of OG10‐type constructed by Laza–Saccà–Voisin (LSV) verify the Lefschetz standard conjecture. This is an application of a more general result, stating that certain Lagrangian fibrations verify this conjecture. The main technical assumption of this general result is that the Lagrangian fibration satisfies
