L1TV Computes the Flat Norm for Boundaries
We show that the recently introduced L1TV functional can be used to explicitly compute the flat norm for codimension one boundaries. Furthermore, using L1TV, we also obtain the flat norm decomposition.

Birationally rigid complete intersections of codimension two [PDF]
We prove that in the parameter space of $M$-dimensional Fano complete intersections of index one and codimension two the locus of varieties that are not birationally superrigid has codimension at least $\frac12 (M-9)(M-10)-1$.

Some applications of canonical metrics to Landau–Ginzburg models
Abstract It is known that a given smooth del Pezzo surface or Fano threefold X$X$ admits a choice of log Calabi–Yau compactified mirror toric Landau–Ginzburg model (with respect to certain fixed Kähler classes and Gorenstein toric degenerations).

An Extension Theorem for Real Kahler Submanifolds in Codimension Four [PDF]
In this article, we prove a Kahler extension theorem for real Kahler submanifolds of codimension 4 and rank at least 5. Our main theorem states that such a manifold is a holomorphic hypersurface in another real Kahler submanifold of codimension 2. This generalizes a result of Dajczer and Gromoll in 1997 which states that any real Kahler submanifolds of

Non‐isotopic splitting spheres for a split link in S4$S^4$
Abstract We show that there exist split, orientable, 2‐component surface‐links in S4$S^4$ with non‐isotopic splitting spheres in their complements. In particular, for non‐negative integers m,n$m,n$ with m⩾4$m\geqslant 4$, the unlink Lm,n$L_{m,n}$ consisting of one component of genus m$m$ and one component of genus n$n$ contains in its complement two ...

Operator product expansion for conformal defects
We study the operator product expansion (OPE) for scalar conformal defects of any codimension in CFT. The OPE for defects is decomposed into “defect OPE blocks”, the irreducible representations of the conformal group, each of which packages the ...

Polar foliations on quaternionic projective spaces [PDF]
We classify irreducible polar foliations of codimension $q$ on quaternionic projective spaces $\mathbb H P^n$, for all $(n,q)\neq(7,1)$. We prove that all irreducible polar foliations of any codimension (resp. of codimension one) on $\mathbb H P^n$ are homogeneous if and only if $n+1$ is a prime number (resp. $n$ is even or $n=1$).

Abstract While there are numerous results on minimizers or stable solutions of the Bernoulli problem proving regularity of the free boundary and analyzing singularities, much less is known about critical points of the corresponding energy. Saddle points of the energy (or of closely related energies) and solutions of the corresponding time‐dependent ...
