A novel computational technique using coefficient diagram method for load frequency control in an interconnected power system [PDF]
This paper proposes a novel load frequency control (LFC) approach formulated on an optimal structure of the coefficient diagram method (CDM) in a two-area thermal power system. As part of a realistic analysis, nonlinearities related to governor dead band

Temperature Control of Autothermal Reformer System with Coefficient Diagram Method
The objective of this paper is to design the autothermal reformer (ATR) temperature control by using a coefficient diagram method (CDM). The adiabatic temperature is a main controlled variable of the ATR which is a combination of endothermic and exothermic reactions.

A Coefficient Diagram Method Controller with Backstepping Methodology for Robotic Manipulators
Abstract A new robust control procedure for robot manipulators is proposed in this paper. Coefficients diagram method controllers CDM and Backstepping methodology are combined to create the novel control law. Two steps of backstepping on the resulting system are used to design a nonlinear CDM-Backstepping controller.

Abstract This paper presents a new load frequency control (LFC) design, using the Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM) in a multi-area power system. The CDM controller has been designed to reduce the effect of uncertainties owing to variations in the parameters of governors and turbines as well as load disturbance.

EFFECT OF STABILITY INDICES ON ROBUSTNESS AND SYSTEM RESPONSE IN COEFFICIENT DIAGRAM METHOD
In Control systems, designing a robust controller such that a desired system response is obtained despite plant parameter variations is ubiquitous problem. In this context, Coefficient diagram method is an effective method and one of the recent design methods based on the polynomial approach introduced by Shunji Manabe.
