The crystal structure of dypingite: understanding the long‐range disorder
After 55 years, the average crystal structure of dypingite is finally revealed. Our research shows that ambient humidity controls long‐range disorder within this mineral and unlocks its potential as a tunable, non‐toxic material for developing next‐generation functional materials.Dypingite, a hydrated magnesium carbonate hydroxide mineral [Mg5(CO3)4(OH)

Origin of phase relative stability and phase transformation in an S‐ibuprofen–nicotinamide cocrystal
The crystal structure of the metastable form of S‐ibuprofen–nicotinamide cocrystals was solved from powder X‐ray diffraction data and explains the main mechanisms responsible for the relative stability of the two forms of the cocrystals. This also made it possible to explain the transition mechanism between the two forms with temperature. The crystal ...

Growth–survival trade‐off in temperate trees is weak and restricted to late‐successional stages
Our findings highlight a role of disturbances in filtering life‐history strategies and their potential impact on forest dynamics and global carbon cycling, but also a need to better understand the mediating processes of tree demographic trade‐offs.

Abstract Large‐scale, state‐subsidized housing programmes have experienced a renaissance in Africa, Asia and Latin America, but provoke justified concerns about whether they miss their target groups. Unaffordability, lack of choice, peripheral locations and under‐serviced sites are common problems.
