Electric-dipole-induced spin resonance in a lateral double quantum dot incorporating two single domain nanomagnets

open access: yes, 2015
On-chip magnets can be used to implement relatively large local magnetic field gradients in na- noelectronic circuits. Such field gradients provide possibilities for all-electrical control of electron spin-qubits where important coupling constants depend

Emergent Spin‐Glass Behavior in an Iron(II)‐Based Metal–Organic Framework Glass

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A one‐pot, solvent‐free synthesis yields an Fe2+‐based metal‐organic framework (MOF) glass featuring a continuous random network structure. The material exhibits spin‐glass freezing at 14 K, driven by topological‐disorder and short‐range magnetic frustration, showcasing the potential of MOF glasses as a plattform for cooperative magnetic phenomena in ...

AlScN: A III-V semiconductor based ferroelectric

open access: yes, 2018
Ferroelectric switching is unambigiously demonstrated for the first time in a III-V semiconductor based material: AlScN -- A discovery which could help to satisfy the urgent demand for thin film ferroelectrics with high performance and good technological

Temperature stability of coercivity in mischmetal-Fe-Co-B melt-spun ribbons

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2018
Coercivity temperature coefficient (β) of the permanent magnet depends on its intrinsic magnetic properties and microstructure. In this paper, the relationship between β and the temperature stabilities of magnetocrystalline anisotropy field (H a ) and saturation magnetization (M s ) as well as the microstructure is discussed.

Thickness‐Dependent Skyrmion Evolution in Fe3GeTe2 During Magnetization Reversal

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Thickness‐ and field‐dependent magnetic domain behavior in 2D van der Waals Fe3GeTe2 is studied using Lorentz TEM and micromagnetic simulations. A patch‐like domain phase evolves from skyrmions during magnetization reversal, and step edges between thickness regions act as pinning sites.

Physics of Ferroelectric Wurtzite Al1−xScxN Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials
Al1−xScxN emerges as a revolutionary ferroelectric material within the III‐N family. It combines exceptional switchable polarization (80–165 µC cm−2), highly tunable coercive fields (1.5–6.5 MV cm−¹), and a wide bandgap (4.9–5.6 eV).

On well-posedness of the nonlocal boundary value problem for parabolic difference equations

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2004
We consider the nonlocal boundary value problem for difference equations (uk−uk−1)/τ+Auk=φk, 1≤k≤N, Nτ=1, and u0=u[λ/τ]+φ ...

Behavioral Patterns of Children Involved in Bullying Episodes

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2018
This study applied a systematic observation strategy to identify coercive behavioral patterns in school environments. The aim was to describe stability and change in the behavioral patterns of children identified as victims of bullying.

Access to justice: the Palestinian legal system and the fragmentation of coercive power [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In recent years there has been an increased interest amongst development practitioners in the potential role of law in situations of violent conflict. The Middle East has increasingly become the focus of this concern.
