ϕ-2-Absorbing Submodule

open access: yes, 2012
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M be a unitary R-module. A proper submodule N of M is 2− absorbing if r1, r2, r3 ∈ R, m ∈ M with r1r2r3m ∈ M implies r1r2m ∈ N or r1r3m ∈ N or r2r3m ∈ N. Let ϕ : S(M) −→ S(M) ∪ {ø} be a function where S(M)

The Unique Maximal GF-Regular Submodule of a Module

open access: yes, 2013
An R-module A is called GF-regular if, for each a∈A and r∈R, there exist t∈R and a positive integer n such that rntrna=rna. We proved that each unitary R-module A contains a unique maximal GF-regular submodule, which we denoted by MGF(A).

On the Category of Weakly Laskerian Cofinite Modules

open access: yes, 2014
Let $R$ denote a commutative Noetherian (not necessarily local) ring and $I$ be an ideal of $R$. The main purpose of this note is to show that the category $\mathscr{WL}(R, I)_{\it cof}$ of $I$-cofinite weakly Laskerian $R$-modules forms an Abelian ...

A Submodule-Based Zero Divisor Graph for Modules

open access: yes, 2019
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M be an R-module. The zero divisor graph of M is denoted by Gamma(M). In this study, we are going to generalize the zero divisor graph Gamma(M) to submodule-based zero divisor graph Gamma(M, N) by replacing ...

Modules with small cofinite irreducibles, cyclic submodules and duality

Communications in Algebra, 1997
In this paper, we explore the relation between small cofinite irreducibles and cyclic submodules in the dual. As an application, we show that an Artinian module over a Noetherian local ring is the finite sum of submodules Ci, each of which has the property that every finitely generated submodule is contained in a cyclic submodule.

Modules whose cofinite closed submodules have weak Rad-supplements

Asian-European Journal of Mathematics
In this paper, we study cofinitely closed weak Rad-supplemented modules (abbreviated as [Formula: see text] modules) serving as proper generalization encompassing the weak Rad-supplemented modules (abbreviated as [Formula: see text] modules) and closed weak Rad-supplemented modules (abbreviated as [Formula: see text] modules).
