Fully Bio‐Based Gelatin Organohydrogels via Enzymatic Crosslinking for Sustainable Soft Strain and Temperature Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Enzymatically crosslinked gelatin‐based organohydrogels, fabricated through a fully bio‐based and scalable process, exhibit exceptional strain and temperature sensing capabilities with minimal interference from environmental humidity. These transparent, stretchable, and ionically conductive materials operate without synthetic fillers or dopants.

DETECTING COHERENT ENERGY

International Journal of Modern Physics C, 2012
We apply the mathematics of cognitive radio to a single receiver to obtain a new coherent energy metric. This allows us to derive the time correlation law separating Gaussian colored noise from coherent signal energy.

Coherent detection of partially coherent sources

Optics Letters, 1980
The mean square of the beating component of the photodetector output current of a coherent optical or infrared receiver, illuminated by partially coherent quasi-monochromatic radiation, is expressed in terms of the mutual intensity functions of the signal and local reference fields on the detector’s active surface.
