Phase Retrieval of On-Axis Digital Holography With Modified Coherent Diffraction Imaging
In this paper, a phase retrieval method is proposed to reconstruct the high-quality image free from undesired terms in on-axis digital holography (DH) with modified coherent diffraction imaging (MCDI).

Diffraction imaging of light induced dynamics in xenon-doped helium nanodroplets
We explore the light induced dynamics in superfluid helium nanodroplets with wide-angle scattering in a pump–probe measurement scheme. The droplets are doped with xenon atoms to facilitate the ignition of a nanoplasma through irradiation with near ...

Progress in Three-Dimensional Coherent X-Ray Diffraction Imaging [PDF]
The Fourier inversion of phased coherent diffraction patterns offers images without the resolution and depth-of-focus limitations of lens-based tomographic systems.

Nanoscale diffractive probing of strain dynamics in ultrafast transmission electron microscopy [PDF]
The control of optically driven high-frequency strain waves in nanostructured systems is an essential ingredient for the further development of nanophononics. However, broadly applicable experimental means to quantitatively map such structural distortion

The versatile precursor‐assisted soft sphere close packing during slot‐die coating is investigated with in situ X‐ray scattering. The soft crystallization pathways towards a close packing involve multistep structural transitions such as surface nucleation, in‐plane, and out‐of‐plane crystallization.

Single-pixel coherent diffraction imaging
Complex-field imaging is indispensable for numerous applications at wavelengths from X-ray to THz, with amplitude describing transmittance (or reflectivity) and phase revealing intrinsic structure of the target object. Coherent diffraction imaging (CDI) employs iterative phase retrieval algorithms to process diffraction measurements and is the ...

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.
