Coherent Optical Information Systems [PDF]

open access: yesScience, 2002
Coherent optical beams are used to communicate, store, and process information in a growing number of applications. The availability of coherent laser sources is of critical importance for the realization of such optical information systems. An incoherent source randomly populates the available temporal and spatial channels of the optical system ...

COHERENT SYSTEMS ON ELLIPTIC CURVES [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics, 2005
In this paper we consider coherent systems (E,V) on an elliptic curve which are α-stable with respect to some value of a parameter α. We show that the corresponding moduli spaces, if non-empty, are smooth and irreducible of the expected dimension. Moreover we give precise conditions for non-emptiness of the moduli spaces.

Coherent states of non-Hermitian quantum systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We use the Gazeau-Klauder formalism to construct coherent states of non-Hermitian quantum systems. In particular we use this formalism to construct coherent state of a PT symmetric system. We also discuss construction of coherent states following Klauder'

Estimation of Component Reliability in Coherent Systems With Masked Data

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The reliability of a coherent system of components depends on the reliability of each component and the initial statistical work should be an estimation of the reliability of each component.
