MET and NF2 alterations confer primary and early resistance to first‐line alectinib treatment in ALK‐positive non‐small‐cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Alectinib resistance in ALK+ NSCLC depends on treatment sequence and EML4‐ALK variants. Variant 1 exhibited off‐target resistance after first‐line treatment, while variant 3 and later lines favored on‐target mutations. Early resistance involved off‐target alterations, like MET and NF2, while on‐target mutations emerged with prolonged therapy.

Post-experiment coincidence detection techniques for direct detection of two-body correlations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
It is one challenge to develop experimental techniques for direct detection of the many-body correlations of strongly correlated electrons, which exhibit a variety of unsolved mysteries. In this article, we present a post-experiment coincidence counting method and propose two post-experiment coincidence detection techniques, post-experiment coincidence

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

Computing modular coincidences [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Comput. Geom. 37, No.3, 381-401 (2007), 2006
Computing modular coincidences can show whether a given substitution system, which is supported on a point lattice in R^d, consists of model sets or not. We prove the computatibility of this problem and determine an upper bound for the number of iterations needed.

Aspects of the cosmological “coincidence problem” [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The observational fact that the present values of the densities of dark energy and dark matter are of the same order of magnitude, $$\rho _{\mathrm{de}0}/\rho _{\mathrm{dm}0} \sim \mathcal {O}(1)$$ρde0/ρdm0∼O(1), seems to indicate that we are currently ...

CD44v, S1PR1, HER3, MET and cancer‐associated amino acid transporters are promising targets for the pancreatic cancers characterized using mAb

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Novel mAbs could detect cancer‐associated membrane proteins on various type of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) by flow cytometry with viable PDAC cells and by immunohistochemistry with PDAC tissues. Results of protein expression were substantiated by mRNA expression by The Cancer Genome Atlas.

Fixed point results of weakly contraction mappings in partially ordered b-metric spaces

open access: yesBMC Research Notes, 2022
Objectives We explored the results of fixed point, coincidence point and coupled coincidence point for the mappings in an ordered metric spaces. Our results generalized and extended the well-known results in the literature.

Strong coincidence and Overlap coincidence [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We show that strong coincidences of a certain many choices of control points are equivalent to overlap coincidence for the suspension tiling of Pisot substitution. The result is valid for degree $\ge 2$ as well, under certain topological conditions. This result gives a converse of the paper by Akiyama-Lee and elucidates the tight relationship between ...

Breaking through the false coincidence barrier in electron-ion coincidence experiments.

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Physics, 2016
Photoelectron Photoion Coincidence (PEPICO) spectroscopy holds the promise of a universal, isomer-selective, and sensitive analytical technique for time-resolved quantitative analysis of bimolecular chemical reactions.

Gender Essentialisms

open access: yesFeminist Philosophy Quarterly, 2023
Charlotte Witt has argued that gender is essential to women and men, in a way that unifies them as social individuals but precludes each of them from being identified with the corresponding person or human organism.
