ON POINTS OF COINCIDENCE OF TWO MAPPINGS

Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1981
This paper is devoted to the coincidence theory of two continuous mappings.A definition is given, in cohomological terms, of the coincidence index of two continuous mappings , where and are connected (not necessarily compact), orientable, -dimensional topological manifolds without boundary, is a compact mapping and is a proper mapping.Invariance ...

A coincidence point theorem for sequentially continuous mappings

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2016
The aim of this paper is to present a coincidence point theorem for sequentially weakly continuous maps. Moreover, as a consequence, a critical point theorem for functionals possibly containing a nonsmooth part is obtained.

Common Coincidence Point Theorems for Four Mappings

Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Computer Science and Application Engineering, 2020
In this paper, we study some common coincidence point theorems for four mappings from T1 topological space to complete b- metric spaces. By using the proper mapping conditions and the closure of image, it is proved that under the suitable conditions, the four mappings have common coincidence points.

Kantorovich’s Fixed Point Theorem in Metric Spaces and Coincidence Points

Proceedings of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, 2019
The authors prove existence and uniqueness of fixed points of a self-mapping on a complete metric space, generalizing and improving the well-known Kantorovich's fixed point theorem in the setting of Banach spaces. Besides of a standard self-mapping, the authors also obtain coincidence point theorems for set-valued mappings on metric spaces.

Zeros of Conic Functions, Fixed Points, and Coincidences

Doklady Mathematics
Concept of conic function with operator coefficients is introduced. Zero existence theorem is proved for such functions. On this basis, fixed point theorem is obtained, for a multivalued self-mapping of a conic metric space, generalizing the recent fixed point theorem by E.S. Zhukovsky and E.A.

Coincidence functions and Bartlett spectra of point processes

Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, 2019
The second order statistical properties of time point processes (PP) are described by the time coincidence function (CF) and the frequency Bartlett spectrum (BS).
