Expanding the Scope of 1,2‐Diazepines Through Alternative Activation Strategies

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Often overlooked due to tedious synthetic routes, 1,2‐diazepines can be found in handful of biorelevant molecules. Previous reports from our group lifted the principal synthetic lock: a rapid and user‐friendly protocol to reach monocyclic 1,2‐diazepines from readily available pyridines and electrophilic activating groups. Herein, we extend the scope of

We show that both firms' choices and the government's preferences depend on the level of CSR concern and on

Pension COLAs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
This paper studies cost of living adjustments in pensions from the perspective of labor economics. Evidence from longitudinal data on pension and annuity incomes of retirees suggests that pension COLAs are less important in the 1980s than in the 1970s, but that through 1987 they continued to cover about half of cost of living increases.
