Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Ammonium Salts as Curing Agents to Obtain Ionic Epoxy Resins With a Thermoplastic‐to‐Thermoset Transition

Ionic epoxy networks are prepared using ammonium salts as hardeners, leading to a two‐stage curing process with a thermoplastic‐like intermediate. This uncommon behavior enables extrusion and fabrication of thermoplastic prepregs that can be cured into thermoset composites.

Viral Infection‐Inspired Autonomous Detection of Fusion‐Competent Viruses for Screening and Environmental Surveillance

Inspired by viral entry mechanisms, the FUSION assay enables autonomous detection of respiratory viruses via membrane fusion–triggered CRISPR‐Cas13a activation. VEACON selectively fuses with fusion‐competent viruses, triggering fluorescence within confined vesicles.

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control

We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. Understanding Operando Water Management in Hydroxide‐Exchange‐Membrane Fuel Cells
