Atomically Thin Sieves: Two‐Dimensional Materials for Membrane Separation
Atomically thin membranes derived from 2D materials overcome the inherent selectivity‐permeability trade‐off in conventional separation technologies. This perspective elucidates transport mechanisms for gases, water, and ions, surveys fabrication strategies including top‐down pore engineering and bottom‐up synthesis, highlights recent experimental and ...

EBSD study of microstructure evolution of ferritic stainless steel during cold rolling and annealing
The microstructure and texture of ferritic stainless steels (FSSs), formed during cold rolling and annealing processes, determine the mechanical properties of final sheet, especially the deep drawing formability. In this work, aNb, Ti stabilized17%Cr FSS

Abstract The anatomical description of the hourglass dolphin (Cephalorhynchus cruciger) and the spectacled porpoise (Phocoena dioptrica) remains largely unexplored, due to limited specimen availability and preservation challenges. This study employed digital imaging techniques, conventional histology, and computed tomography to provide visualization of

Oxide dispersion strengthened nickel produced by nonreactive milling [PDF]
It is shown that oxide dispersion strengthened alloys can be produced by a postulated nonreactive milling mechanism whereby the dispersoid is trapped at the interface between welding metal powder particles. This interparticle welding is possible because,

Aluminum‐enhanced afterburning renders AE explosives more hazardous than conventional ones. Corrugated steel linings reduce far‐field AE blast overpressure by ~50% through wave reflection and dissipation. The developed model accurately predicts peak pressure (<10% error) and arrival time (<3% error), supporting protective design.

A process model for air bending [PDF]
A so called `three-section¿ model for air bending is presented. It is assumed that a state of plane strain exists and that Bernoulli's law is valid.
