Analysis of Reactive Oxygen Species–Induced Cellular Damage in Cervical Cancer

open access: yesCurrent Protocols, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are highly reactive oxygen‐based molecules comprising hydrogen peroxide, hydroxyl radicals, superoxide anion, and singlet oxygen. These species are produced intracellularly and play an important role in cellular signaling and metabolism. Their high reactivity damages intracellular macromolecules such as lipids and

Scalable Fabrication and Cost‐Effective Graphite‐Paper‐Based Zinc Anode for Promoting Reversible Cycling of Zinc (002) Crystallographic Plane

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 2, March 2026.
This study presents a cost‐effective approach to enhance thin zinc anodes in zinc‐ion batteries using graphite paper as a substrate. Unlike graphene coatings, this method is scalable and improves electrochemical performance with more uniform zinc deposition and better reversibility.

Organic Electrolyte Composed of Strongly and Weakly Coordinating Molecules for Sodium‐Ion Battery. A Molecular Dynamics Simulation Study

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 2, March 2026.
Molecular dynamics simulations reveal that the addition of weakly coordinating solvents disrupts stable Na+ solvation with various coordinating configurations, accelerating solvents exchange and promoting Na+ migration. The optimized electrolyte achieves the highest ionic conductivity as well as the fractional ionic conductivity of Na+ of 3.68 ± 0.36 ...

Flexible ionic pressure sensors: From migration‐electronic mechanisms to emerging iontronic paradigms

open access: yesInfoMat, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
Mechanisms, materials, structures, and applications of the FIPSs. Abstract Flexible ionic pressure sensors (FIPS) have emerged as promising candidates for bridging the gap between electronics and biologically compatible interfaces. Unlike previous reviews, which focused primarily on materials or devices, this review presents a classification of FIPS ...
