Anisotropy in laser forming of cold-rolled stainless steel
Optical Society of America Annual Meeting, 1990Laser forming is a new metal-forming process that makes shapes by using laser irradiation. Cold-rolled AISI 304 stainless steel sheets have been cut into square samples and tensile-test samples. The former samples, which are 0.3 mm thick, have been irradiated with the defocused beam of a 100 W carbon dioxide laser.

Numerical Simulation on the Cold Rolling Forming of Spline
2017Finite element modeling and numerical simulation analysis of the spline cold rolling precision forming process have been carried out with software DEFORM-3D. The simulated results are compared with those obtained from the theoretical analysis.
