Lipid drug carriers to which ultra‐small gold nanoparticles were added enabled more efficient radiotherapy of cultured pancreatic cancer tumors. These nanoparticles boosted radiation‐induced damage to tumors by generating more reactive molecules, though higher gold levels are needed for strong benefits.

Particle flattening during cold spray: Mechanistic regimes revealed by single particle impact tests
The flattening ratio, e, is an important diagnostic measurement of particle deformability and coating quality assessment in cold spray. However, the experimental determination of e and correlation of it to experimental parameters (particle size, velocity)

Nanoporous Microelectrodes for Neural Electrophysiology Recordings in Organotypic Culture
The highly porous microelectrodes have been designed and printed on culture membranes, allowing to record electrophysiological neural activity for rodent brain slices. To keep the biocompatible nanoporous structure, the microelectrodes and insulative layer are fabricated on the bottom of culture membranes with only small connector pads added on the top.
