Tailored Porous Bimetallic Nanozyme Platform for Full‐Cycle Therapeutics of Intestinal Ischemia/Reperfusion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury presents a biphasic pathology: an acute oxidative‐inflammatory phase leading to organ failure, and a recovery phase marked by mucosal dysfunction and bacterial translocation. The developed MPB@TA‐Cu‐Ma nanocomposite functions as a dual‐phase therapeutic platform with significant efficacy. It rapidly

Smart Energy–Harvesting Coating for Moisture–Droplets Based on Ionic Diodes and Transistor–Like Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A smart power‐generating coating is developed to harvest energy from both ambient humidity and impacting liquid droplets. The integrated system delivers sustained open‐circuit voltages of 0.85 V from moisture and up to 36 V from droplets. Its scalable coating architecture enables a continuous power supply for low‐power electronic devices.

Loss of VMP1 Impairs Tight Junction Recycling and Aggravates Intestinal Barrier Dysfunction in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies vacuole membrane protein 1 (VMP1) as a critical regulator of intestinal epithelial barrier homeostasis. VMP1 facilitates the recruitment of CORO1C to late endosomes, supporting Retromer‐mediated recycling of the tight junction protein Occludin.

A Review on Material Dynamics in Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing: Bonding, Stress, and Structural Evolution in Metals

open access: yesMetals
CSAM is a solid-state process for depositing metal or metal-based composite materials in which the fine particles of metal or composite material are accelerated to supersonic velocity, making successful bonding feasible due to the high-impact velocity ...

Simulation and Experimental Validation of Splat Profiles for Cold-Sprayed CP-Ti with Varied Powder Morphology

open access: yesApplied Mechanics
The cold spray (CS) process has gained momentum as an additive manufacturing technology, due to its low processing temperatures. Computational modelling can accompany CS experiments to optimise deposition parameters, as well as predict coating properties

Nanoparticle‐Mediated Immunometabolic‐Epigenetic Remodeling Enhances Schwann Cell‐Macrophage Interaction for Sciatic Nerve Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A biomimetic Prussian White nanoparticle (PW) is engineered to achieve long‐term local retention and orchestrate immunometabolic‐epigenetic remodeling for sciatic nerve regeneration. PW directly targets hexokinase 2 to suppress glycolysis, thereby elevating α‐ketoglutarate and driving Kdm4a/b‐mediated demethylation of H3K9me3.

Inhibition of Listeria in cold-smoked salmon using liquid smoke and isoeugenol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Thesis (M.S.) University of Alaska Fairbanks, 2000Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogen, ubiquitous in nature and sometimes found in seafood. Cold-smoked salmon products have few barriers to inhibit pathogen growth.
