Airborne IP: Drybones kimberlite VTEM data Cole-Cole inversion [PDF]

open access: yesASEG Extended Abstracts, 2016
A VTEM survey was flown over the Drybones kimberlite in 2005, followed by a ZTEM survey in 2009. These data sets were inverted on multiple previous occasions using various 1D, 2D, 3D and plate modelling algorithms. VTEM data showed AIP effects, manifested as negative voltages and otherwise skewed transients.

Rank Order of Small Molecule Induced Hypoxiamimesis to Prevent Retinopathy of Prematurity

open access: yesFrontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology, 2020
Here we rank order small molecule inhibitors of hypoxia inducible factor (HIF) prolyl hydroxylases (PHDs) using severity of oxygen induced retinopathy (OIR) as an outcome measure.

Cole-Cole Inversion of Telluric Cancelled IP Data

open access: yesASEG Extended Abstracts, 2003
SUMMARY Induced Polarisation, like all geophysical methods, suffers from the presence of noise. Of the many sources of noise, tellurics can often be one of the most problematic to remove. An effective method of removing telluric noise has been trialed on dipole-dipole data acquired by MIM Exploration's proprietary MIMDAS system, during routine ...

Evaluation of SAR and Temperature Rise in Human Hand Due to Contact Current From 100 kHz to 100 MHz

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
International guidelines/standards for the protection of humans from radiofrequency exposure have set a limit by assuming the lowest threshold for a classical heating effect, among other effects.

Novel Genetic Risk Factor Identified for L‐Asparaginase‐Induced Pancreatitis in Pediatric Patients With Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background L‐asparaginase is a critical component in treatment protocols for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Acute pancreatitis reactions can necessitate delays and, in some cases, discontinuation of L‐asparaginase, which compromises outcomes.

Demographics, Presenting Features, and Outcomes of Adult Patients with Ocular Trauma

open access: yesJournal of Ophthalmology
Introduction. Ocular trauma is a common cause of permanent vision loss in adults. The combination of an accurate clinical examination and imaging offers the best prognostic indicators for patients and helps to navigate treatment modalities.

Enhancement of the dielectric properties of low density polyethylene grad (LA071) via γ irradiation

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2021
In this work, we have investigated the dielectric properties of low density polyethylene (LDPE) grad (LA071) samples exposed to different γ irradiation doses ranging from 0 to 50 Gy.

CONSEQUENCES OF COLE-COLE RELAXATION IN SPIN GLASSES

open access: yesLe Journal de Physique Colloques, 1988
Ac susceptibility measurements in spin glasses over an extended frequency range indicate a Cole-Cole behaviour at temperatures from well above to far below the freezing temperature. The consequences of this kind of relaxation are discussed.
