Collapsing glomerulopathy

Seminars in Nephrology, 2003
Collapsing glomerulopathy is a morphologic variant of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) characterized by segmental and global collapse of the glomerular capillaries, marked hypertrophy and hyperplasia of podocytes, and severe tubulointerstitial disease.

Tracheal Collapse

Veterinary Clinics of North America: Food Animal Practice, 1995
Tracheal collapse in calves usually is associated with dystocia at birth, especially breech presentations. Inspiratory dyspnea typically is seen within the first several months of life and may worsen progressively. Lateral cervical radiographs are useful in defining the affected segments as well as identifying previously fractured ribs.

Collapsing Glomerulopathy

Advances in Kidney Disease and Health
Collapsing glomerulopathy (CG) is a pattern of kidney injury characterized by segmental or global collapse of the glomerular tuft associated with overlying epithelial cell hyperplasia. Although CG may be idiopathic, a wide range of etiologies have been identified that can lead to this pattern of injury.

Maternal collapse

Current Opinion in Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2005
This review will summarize the latest publications on the causes, prevention and treatment of maternal collapse during pregnancy and the postpartum period. It will also explore some future trends particularly in the area of education and team working.Active management of the third stage of labour has been shown to decrease the incidence of postpartum ...

Spectral Collapse

Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 1986
Following recent work of B. Barnes, we explore various conditions which guarantee inverse closure of a closed subalgebra of a unital Banach algebra. Noting the connection between inverse closure and collapse of the spectral lattice, we then salvage the hull-boundary relations which remain when the given subalgebra is not necessarily inverse closed. The

Unified Thermodynamics and Collapse: Standard, Collapse, and Recursive Collapse Formulations

We present a comprehensive unification of classical thermodynamics, collapse dynamics, and the full recursive collapse formalism (RCFT/ULRC). Starting from the established mathematical foundations of equilibrium and non-equilibrium thermodynamics, we derive a universal operator set that extends traditional state functions—energy, entropy, free energy ...
