Lifestyle modification in atrial fibrillation: Mechanisms, phenotypes and ablation outcomes
Abstract Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most prevalent sustained cardiac arrhythmia and is associated with significant morbidity, mortality and healthcare utilization. Catheter ablation is increasingly used as a rhythm‐control intervention for patients with symptomatic paroxysmal and persistent AF, yet recurrence rates remain suboptimal.

Gravitational collapse of diffuse material has been investigated using a new solution of Einstein’s equations of general relativity. This replaces the theory of black-hole formation developed for the standard vacuum solution of Schwarzschild. The bodies which now form have reasonable physical properties, such as nuclear hard core density in collapsed ...

Dynamic torsional shear tests and SEM/PCAS analysis were combined to characterize calcium oxalate crystal‐modified compacted loess. The dataset connects OA concentration, damping‐ratio behaviour, pore‐structure evolution and Pearson correlations, supporting micro–macro interpretation of chemically modified loess.

Inferior Vena Cava Ultrasound for Decongestion Assessment in Acute Heart Failure: Systematic Review
This systematic review of 629 patients suggests that using IVC ultrasound to guide decongestion in acute heart failure significantly improves clinical outcomes. This approach leads to reduced NT‐proBNP levels, hospitalizations, mortality, and adverse events, highlighting its effectiveness as a potential tool for optimizing AHF treatment and monitoring .

Abrupt deterioration in the mother’s condition may occur postpartum as a result of a broad array of conditions, many of them rare. Maternal survival depends on aggressive resuscitation, rapid precise diagnosis and the institution of disease-targeted therapy. Additionally there may be implications for any future pregnancy.

Micro-mechanisms, theoretical models, and evaluation techniques of loess collapsibility
Loess, widely distributed across northwestern China, is a Quaternary aeolian deposit characterized by its pronounced collapsibility. Owing to its naturally metastable structure, loess presents high strength under low-moisture conditions but may ...
