Collateral-Enhanced Default Risk [PDF]
Changes in collateralization have been implicated in significant default (or near-default) events during the financial crisis, most notably with AIG. We have developed a framework for quantifying this effect based on moving between Merton-type and Black-Cox-type structural default models.

Segmentation‐assisted vessel centerline extraction from cerebral CT Angiography
Abstract Background The accurate automated extraction of brain vessel centerlines from Computed tomographic angiography (CTA) images plays an important role in diagnosing and treating cerebrovascular diseases such as stroke. Despite its significance, this task is complicated by the complex cerebrovascular structure and heterogeneous imaging quality ...

Derivative Pricing under Asymmetric and Imperfect Collateralization and CVA [PDF]
The importance of collateralization through the change of funding cost is now well recognized among practitioners. In this article, we have extended the previous studies of collateralized derivative pricing to more generic situation, that is asymmetric and imperfect collateralization with the associated counter party credit risk.

Fire Sales, the LOLR and Bank Runs with Continuous Asset Liquidity [PDF]
Bank's asset fire sales and recourse to central bank credit are modelled with continuous asset liquidity, allowing to derive the liability structure of a bank. Both asset sales liquidity and the central bank collateral framework are modeled as power functions within the unit interval.

Plasma Omentin-1 Level as a Predictor of Good Coronary Collateral Circulation
Aims: Coronary collateral circulation (CCC) is crucial during an acute ischemic attack. Evidences showed that omentin-1 exhibited remarkable antiatherogenic effects and ischemia-induced revascularization.
